Currently, using a direct marketing approach is hardly worth it for electricity produced by small-scale systems. But, according to plans set out by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), these systems are set to transition from the EEG feed-in tariff to (subsidized) direct marketing in the future. The goal is to incentivize behavior that benefits the market.During this session, we will explore the following questions:• Do direct marketed systems actually serve the market?• If not, why?We will also highlight the existing obstacles that are hindering the direct marketing of small-scale systems. We will present ways to adapt processes to the mass market and accelerate their implementation, both for the direct marketing of electricity from small systems and for the market operation of prosumer solutions.
