Objectives:
Curaçao is advancing a comprehensive strategy to achieve energy independence and long-term energy security through the deployment of renewable energy technologies. With the support of the GTI Foundation and within the framework of the 100% Renewable Energy Islands Initiative, the island is refining and implementing a tailored strategy that harnesses its natural resources and integrates advanced solutions - such as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) - to meet its specific energy needs and achieve full energy independence.
