The ees Innovation Hub networks the energy storage industry under the motto: Research meets Industry
Projects and products relating to energy storage will be presented in an attractive environment together with research institutes, start-ups and international companies. In addition, the ees Innovation Hub Stage offers a varied program on all three days of the exhibition on innovations from areas such as battery technologies, AI in battery research, recycling, energy storage systems, 100% RES for islands, as well as industry pitches.
In the ees Island Challenge, three interdisciplinary teams of experts and young professionals in the field of photovoltaics and energy storage will compete against each other to complete a complex, challenging and practical task as part of ees Europe. The task is to convert a decommissioned refinery site on the Caribbean island of Curacao into an energy center based on renewable energies. Energy storage will be an integral part of the solution.
The Ministry of Energy and the energy supplier of Curacao will provide realistic data for the ees Island Challenge and will accompany the ees Island Challenge on site in Munich. The progress of the three teams can be followed and observed in Hall B0 at booth B0.160. Interaction with exhibitors and visitors is expressly encouraged.
