In dieser Session werden innovative Strategien und Kooperationsansätze zwischen energieintensiven Industrien und Energieversorgern beleuchtet, um die Kosteneffizienz und Versorgungssicherheit zu steigern. Wir erörtern Strategien, mit denen die Industrie ihren Wettbewerbsvorteil durch Elektrifizierung zurückgewinnen kann. Außerdem sprechen wir über die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Industrie und Energieversorgern bei der Entwicklung von unterstützenden Förderbedingungen. Ausgehend vom Draghi-Bericht zur Zukunft der europäischen Wettbewerbsfähigkeit untersuchen wir in dieser Session, wie innovative Elektrifizierungsstrategien dazu beitragen können, die Zukunft der europäischen Industrie zu sichern. Teilnehmer lernen umsetzbare Strategien kennen, mit denen sie ihre Energiekosten senken, die industrielle Produktivität steigern, Umweltziele erreichen und gleichzeitig einen Wettbewerbsvorteil in einem dynamischen globalen Markt bewahren können.

Ioana Petcu ist eine erfahrene Expertin für Energie und Klima mit einem ausgeprägten Profil in Kommunikation und Public Affairs. Derzeit leitet sie bei Eurelectric die Arbeitsbereiche Industrie und Dekarbonisierung und konzentriert sich auf politische Maßnahmen zur Förderung von Europas Wachstum und Netto-Null-Zielen. Sie kam 2018 zu Eurelectric, um die Medieninteraktionen und Krisenkommunikation sowie Multikanal-Engagements zu leiten und damit die Lobbyarbeit des Unternehmens zu unterstützen. Zuvor arbeitete Ioana bei der NATO, dem Europäischen Parlament und dem rumänischen Verteidigungsministerium. Sie hat einen Masterabschluss in internationalen Beziehungen mit Schwerpunkt Diplomatie und Konfliktlösung sowie einen Bachelorabschluss in Kommunikationswissenschaften.

Stefan Håkansson serves as the Chief Clean Energy Officer (CCEO) at GFG Alliance. A seasoned senior executive, he previously held key positions at the European energy company E.ON. Over the past five years, Stefan led E.ON Business Solutions as CEO and served as the Global Director for Energy Infrastructure Solutions, overseeing energy services for two million customers across 15 countries. Before that, he was the Managing Director of E.ON Thermal Sweden and Karlshamn Kraft AB, both part of E.ON's Nordic power generation operations. At GFG Alliance, Stefan is responsible for advancing the company's CN30 initiative and spearheading renewable energy development. His focus includes enhancing energy efficiency as a key strategy for achieving CN30, with investments in solar, wind, and green hydrogen projects to decarbonize iron and steel production. Starting April 1, 2025, Stefan will assume the role of CEO at Oresundskraft AB in Sweden while continuing to support GFG Alliance as a Senior Advisor.

Bertrand Deprez is the head of policy and government affairs of GE Vernova within the European Union. GE Vernova is one of the largest technology providers for the generation, transfer and storage of electricity in Europe. Our technologies help to provide about 30% of the electricity across the continent. Previously, Bertrand was Vice President for EU Government Affairs at Schneider Electric, where he managed public affairs activities for the group in Europe. Over the years, Bertrand has developed a deep expertise within the realm of energy, digital and climate policies. He is holds positions of responsibility in several trade associations and groups at the EU level. Prior to that, Bertrand worked several years at Edelman/The Centre, a well-known PR/PA agency specializing in EU affairs. Bertrand graduated at University Lyon 3 (France) and the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK). He lives in Brussels.

He is actively engaged in public and social matters. Among others, organised the "Economics of Information & Energy" conference in the UK, supported international initiative "PL Science Perspectives", and has been involved with the Warsaw Stock Exchange Foundation, featuring in discussion panels and student mentoring.

As a member of the Open Direct Current Alliance (ODCA), he also promotes DC technology in the low-voltage sector and focuses his activities on developing solutions for applications.
