Austria and Switzerland have their own challenges and opportunities that influence the expansion and acceptance of electric vehicles. While Austria relies on strong state subsidies, Switzerland scores with a high willingness of the population to switch to electric vehicles.

Schimany founded the BVe (Bundesverband eMobility-Austria) in 2013, which he has chaired on an honorary basis as Chairman of the Board since then. The Federal Association eMobility Austria is the independent eMobility cluster for companies, experts and local authorities in Austria. The BVe is the Austrian platform for the application-oriented implementation of new mobility concepts. This is where potential users, developers and solution providers meet.
Krispin Romang is Managing Director of the Swiss eMobility association. Swiss eMobility supports the creation of the political and institutional foundations for the development of electromobility in Switzerland. We stand up for the interests of our members in connection with electromobility. We deal with economic, legal, technical, structural, ecological and social issues relating to electromobility, make recommendations and take measures for the attention of authorities and parliaments. We also maintain contacts with international organizations with similar interests.
